1. For multiple command actions, the bits in W1 may be OR’ed.

2. The number of bytes is dependent on the number of channels.

3. To avoid control conflicts, parameters have following priority:

Highest 1)

Manual/Auto

W4-B0

2)

Exclude by [< Elevation mask] & [unhealthy]

W2&0x48

3)

Always track SV...

W5-Bn=1

4)

Highest SVs

W4-B1

4. The elevation mask should never be higher than 20 degrees, even though the

control allows up to 90 degrees. The higher the value, the fewer satellites that
will be used in the navigation solution.

5. WnX, where X is the channel number and the PRN-1 is the data.

Example:

Wn6 = channel 1

if the byte is set to 00, then channel 1 is free to be used for any
satellite to track

if the byte is set to 07, then channel 1 will only track PRN 8 and be

unavailable for any other satellite that is otherwise available,
regardless if PRN is above the horizon or not.

Wn7 through 17 provide control for the remaining RF channels

Miss-use of this entry field can cause serious tracking issues
