Maximum Clearance
If lines are broken, for example due to fading of the image, lines that are broken for an interval that is
less than or equal to the specified broken line distance will be detected as lines and removed.
NOTE
• This function is available when the Black & White scan type is selected.
• This function is not effective for the Long Paper document size.
When there is a horizontal line
The horizontal line is not gone
When there is a vertical line
shorter than 2 cm
The vertical line is not gone
When there is a break below 5 mm
between a vertical lines longer than
2 cm
The vertical line is gone
When there is a 5 mm or more break
between vertical line longer than 2 cm
and shorter than 2 cm
The vertical line shorter
than 2 cm is not gone
