Electrical System
Follow same procedure as
right outrigger DOWN
function, testing voltage at Pin
1, wire [61] (RED/GRY) at
switch and across connector
wires [61] (RED/GRY) and
[2G] (BLK) at valve solenoid.
Not

Replace solenoid.
Not
OK
No outrigger functions
work or a single function
fails to work .
Check battery voltage at 7.5
amp outrigger fuse,
output side.
Does right outrigger
DOWN function
work?
With the bottom of the
right outrigger switch
pressed in, check for
battery voltage at Pin 3,
wire [62] (PUR/WHT).
Replace RIGHT
outrigger switch.
Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:
1. All connections relating to
circuit are clean and tight.

Note:
• If no outrigger functions
work, the problem is
most likely the main
power to the outrigger
circuit.
• If a single outrigger
function (up/down) does
not work, the problem is
most likely the switch or
that individual circuit.
Replace fuse.
Check battery voltage at fuse
block female connector, wire
[50] (WHT/YEL).

Repair/replace
cab harness.
If OK
Check battery voltage at right
outrigger switch, Pin 2, wire
[60A] (YEL), Pin 8, wire [60B]
(YEL) and left outrigger
switch, Pin 2, wire [60C]
(YEL), Pin 8, wire
[60D] (YEL).

Repair/replace
cab harness.
If OK

Check for battery
voltage, across wires
[62] (PUR/WHT) and
[2F] (BLK) at male
connector at the
outrigger valve solenoid.
If OK
Reconnect outrigger
valve solenoid male
connector and verify that
solenoid is magnetized
by holding a metal object
next to the solenoid with
power applied.
Refer to Section 8.8.28, “Outrigger
Circuit Description (10042/10054).”
Repair/replace
outrigger harness.

Does right outrigger
UP function work?
Follow same procedure as
right outrigger DOWN
function, testing voltage at
Pin 3, wire [64] (GRY/PUR) at
switch and across connector
wires [64] (GRY/PUR) and
[2D] (BLK) at valve solenoid.

Does left outrigger
DOWN function
work?
Follow same procedure as
right outrigger DOWN
function, testing voltage at
Pin 1, wire [63] (BRN/YEL) at
switch and across connector
wires [63] (BRN/YEL) and
[2E] (BLK) at valve solenoid.
