Stabil-TRAK™ System and Boom Interlock System

10.12.10 Hydraulic Troubleshooting - SLOW PIVOT Mode, Base Oil Out

Conditions:

• Ignition ON, engine

running

• Boom angle is

above 40°

• Travel select

lever in (F)
FORWARD or
(R) REVERSE

• Park brake OFF

• Service brake

DISENGAGED

If OK

Not

OK

While traveling, ride feels spongy

(riding on 3 wheels).

Check electrical wiring.

Not

OK

Check solenoid coils 4A and 4B in the

Stabil-TRAK™ manifold for correct

resistance (7-9 ohms).

Replace solenoid(s).

If OK

Not

OK

Remove solenoid coils 4A and 4B from

Stabil-TRAK™ manifold and inspect

for debris or damage. Refer to Section

8.13.9, “Stabil-TRAK Cylinder.”

Clean passages or replace cartridge(s).

If OK

Not

OK

Replace check valve(s).

Refer to Section 10.7, “Stabil-TRAK™

Electrical Circuit Operation and

Troubleshooting (8042/10042),” Section

10.9, “Stabil-TRAK™ Boom Interlock

Electrical Circuit Operation and

Troubleshooting (10054, 13198-17984),”

or Section 10.10, “Stabil-TRAK™ Boom

Troubleshooting (10054, 17985-19987

and 0160002332 & After).”

Inspect check valves on frame sway

cylinder. Refer to Section 8.13.8, “Frame

Sway Cylinder.”
