Starting the CNC editor, inserting and managing CNC programs

4.2.3

Deleting a CNC program

Select the program from the CNC program list followed by the Delete CNC program

command from the CNC Program menu or from the context menu. The program is deleted

from the list and the focus moves to the next entry.

4.2.4

Information

Select the program from the CNC program list followed by the Information command from

the CNC Program menu or from the context menu. A dialog containing information about

the selected CNC program appears.

4.2.5

Define Queue Size

You can define the size of the OutQueue data buffer here. This can be very useful if there

is only limited memory space available for the CNC function blocks in the IEC program, so

that not all GeoInfo objects can be stored there and the ring buffer functionality must be

used. This can lead to the occurrence of special effects (e.g. deceleration whilst traversing

straight paths) which you can simulate and reproduce using this function.
Possible values: 5000 - 100000 bytes. Click OK to apply the values.

4.2.6

Defining the start position of the CNC program

In the Starting point dialog, you can enter path start positions deviating from the default

value of 0 for simulation purposes.
Values can be entered for the following axes: X, Y, Z, P, Q, U, V, W.
