3. Enter the new Location Name. Monitor names must follow this

convention depending on length:

Use unique names when choosing names that are 8

characters or less in length (e.g., FSIS1, FSIS2, FSIS3).

For longer names, up to the first 8 characters can be the

same for multiple monitors, provided an underscore (_)

follows those characters and the characters following the

underscore are unique (e.g., FlowShrk_01, FlowShrk_02,

FlowShrk_03).

4. Enter the new location Description.
5. Select FlowShark IS from the Series drop-down list.
6. Select the appropriate method of communication from the

Connect Using

drop-down list.

7. (applies only to wireless communication) Enter the monitor

location IP Address for the wireless connection.

Note:

Do not use leading zeros before or within the IP

address. For example, an IP address of 166.213.006.020

should be entered as 166.213.6.20.

8. Enter the Serial Number.
9. Choose one of the following methods for collecting monitor

data using Profile:
Auto Collection

Select the Autocollect checkbox to

ensure Profile collects data ranging from the last

timestamp collected or a user-defined start date and time to

the current date and time. Edit the corresponding Start
time

field as necessary. Profile defaults to this option.

Manual Collection

Deselect the Autocollect checkbox

to ensure Profile collects data based on the range

designated by the user in the Manual Collection section.

Edit the corresponding Start time and End time fields as

necessary. The Autocollect checkbox must be deselected

to enable modification of these fields.
