Logging in to the SecBlade NS card from the host

device

Before logging in to the SecBlade NS card from the host device, perform the following steps to configure
the AUX port of the SecBlade NS card:

Set the authentication mode for the
user interface to none

for the AUX user interface is

Configure the user privilege level

The default level is 0. H3C
recommends you to set the level to 3.

Then, use the following command to access the CLI of the SecBlade NS card. To return to the CLI of the
host device, press Ctrl+K.

oap connect slot slot-number

When the host device works in IRF mode:

oap connect chassis chassis-number slot slot-number

Resetting the system of the SecBlade NS card

If the operating system works abnormally or is under other anomalies (for example, the system does not

respond), you can reset the system of the SecBlade NS card with the following command, which is equal
to resetting the SecBlade NS card by pressing the reset button on the SecBlade NS card.
The SecBlade NS card has its independent CPU; therefore, the device can still recognize and control the

SecBlade NS card after you reset the OAP system.
