10.3 Ethernet connection
The camcorder uses TCP/IP as its communication protocol. Change the Ethernet settings in
the SYSTEM
> HARDWARE > PORTS > NETWORK menu. Below are the default network settings
used by the camcorder:
10.4 IEEE 1394 connection
Connect external IEEE 1394 devices to this connector. The external device can used to ingest
streaming video data from the camcorder. Select the playback method in the
SYSTEM
> HARDWARE > PORTS > IEEE 1394 menu:

Playback on the IEEE 1394 port is available for SD video standards using the DV25 video
codec.
