14.7 Troubleshooting
Symptom Possible cause Solution
No on-screen indicators or
information visible in the
viewfinder. The VF text switch on the
viewfinder is in the On
position. Set the VF text switch on the viewfinder to
the Off position.
Lens zoom doesn’t work Servo setting on lens set to
‘manual’. Set the switch on the lens to S(ervo).
Internal clock is reset to
00:00:00 after startup. Built-in battery is exhausted. Contact your Grass Valley service contact to
have the battery replaced.
Package file is not
recognized. File extension is incorrect. On your computer, make sure that the
package file has a single .zip extension. (If
necessary, ask you IT system administrator
about displaying file extensions.)
Package file is not shown
when updating software More than 10 license and
package files are present on
the USB stick. Remove unnecessary files and try again.
License activation file is not
recognized. File extension is incorrect. On your computer, make sure that the
package file has a single .xml extension.
Unzip if necessary. (If necessary, ask you IT
system administrator about displaying file
extensions and unzipping.)
