4.2 User levels

Four user levels can be set up (0.. 3) that restrict the group of functions which can be changed.
In this way, the danger of accidentally changing critical functions while shooting can be
reduced.

User level 0 locks most of the operational controls and is not normally used for operational
purposes. The recommended minimum user level is 1. For full control, set the level to 3.

If some menu items are dimmed (grey) they may be locked for the set user level. Change the
user level in the SYSTEM

Tip

To limit access to camera functions, you can set a maximum user level in the
SYSTEM

Description

0

Remote operation

On this level, most operational controls are locked. It can be
used for remote operation or unattended recording.

Basic camera operation

Minimum operational level. All basic operational controls are
accessible.

Advanced operation

Same as use level 1 but extended with recording setup and
user files access.

Expert operation, camera
configuration

Full operational and configuration control.

adjustments.
