Stateless DHCPv6 Message Exchange
The sequence for stateless DHCPv6 message exchange between a DHCPv6 Client and a
DHCPv6 Server is shown below in

The DHCPv6 Client starts by sending an INFORMATION-REQUEST message to the
DHCPv6 Server. This request specifically excludes the assignment of any IPv6 address.
2.
The DHCPv6 Server sends a REPLY message back to the DHCPv6 Client to finish.
