28. Remove the trunnion blocks that secure the tele-
scope cylinder barrel to the inner mid boom section.
29. Attach a lifting device to the telescope cylinder and
pull the cylinder, along with the outer mid extend
cables out of the inner mid boom section. Reposi-
tion the lifting device as necessary to balance the
cylinder.
30. Remove the hardware attaching the outer mid
extend block and remove the block and outer mid
extend cables.
31. Remove the cable retainer plate, cable retainer
block, bushing, and sheave.
