4.10 JIB LIFT CYLINDER
Removal
1. Ensure the weight of the jib is fully supported.
2. Place a strap or similar device in place to support
the weight of the cylinder.
3. Remove the bolt and keeper pin that secure the jib
lift cylinder barrel pivot pin. Remove the jib lift cylin-
der barrel pin.
4. Lower the cylinder enough to tag and disconnect
the cylinder length sensor harness. Readjust the lift-
ing device as necessary to balance the weight of the
cylinder.
