Inverter fault codes

Table 6-10.

CODE

MEANING

1

Wrong Config

Cause: Eeprom memory not configured

Solution: Contact JLG after sales dept.

8

Watch Dog

Cause:

The inverter is unable to activate or turn off the electric motor

Solution:

Control connections and continuity of the electric motor. If they are OK replace the inverter.

8

Flash Checksum

Cause:

Software is corrupted or inverter is damaged

Solution: Replace the inverter

13

Eeprom KO

Cause:

Hardware or Software problem in eeprom

Solution:

Replace the inverter

16

Aux output KO

Cause:

Electromechanical brake problem

Solution:

Usually it is a temporary anomaly due to a particular working condition. In case the anomaly
persists replace the inverter.

17

Logic failure #3

Cause:

Activates in case of high peak of current in the inverter.

Solution:

Usually it is a temporary anomaly due to a particular working condition. In case the anomaly
persists replace the inverter.

18

Logic Failure #2

Cause:

Fault in the inverter

Solution:

Replace the inverter

19

Logic failure #1

Cause:

An overvoltage or a sudden voltage drop occurred.

Solution:

Usually it is a temporary anomaly due to a particular working condition. In case the anomaly
persists replace the inverter.

26

Current Sens KO

Cause:

Current sensor for the motor phases is damaged

Solution: Replace the inverter

27

Phase KO

Cause:

One of the motor phases is open

Solution: Check the connexions from the inverter to the motor

28

Pump Vmn Low

Cause:

Pump motor output is too low

Solution: Check the electric motor connexion

29

Pump Vmn Hig

Cause:

Pump motor output is too high

Solution: Check the electric motor connexions

30

VMN low

Cause:

Inverter supply voltage is lower than the batteries’ one, or the connection with the positive ter-
minal of the battery is not correct.

Solution: Control the connection with the positive terminal of the battery. If the anomaly persists

replace the inverter.

31

VMN High

Cause:

One motor phase is not correctly connected or is broken.

Solution:

Control motor phases and motor internal connexions. If the anomaly persists replace the
inverter.

37

Contactor closed

Cause:

The relay remains closed with power to the coil disconnected.

Solution:

Control the relay

38

Contactor Open

Cause:

The inverter feeds the relay’s coil but the contact does not close.

Solution:

Control the relay and the power to the coil

40

Aux driv Shrt

Cause:

When the mos of EB is shorted

Solution:

Check the battery feed.

41

Wrong Set Battery

Cause:

The battery voltage is too low or too high

Solution:

Check the battery voltage

42

Aux driver open

Cause:

Driver of EB coil is damaged (not able to close)

Solution:

Replace the inverter
