TROUBLESHOOTING

In case of battery pack problems please refer to the trou-
bleshooting for 48 Volt battery pack or 72 Volt Battery
Pack.

However, before to work on the pack components, can be
useful to connect Rahmino Software to the machine.

LITHIUM TROUBLESHOOTING SCHEDULE – 48
VOLT SYSTEM

NOTE: To make the diagnostic on the Lithium system, it is neces-

sary to have available the complete wiring diagram and
the Rahmino software (5.0 or latest version) installed on a
laptop.

Only authorized people are allowed to manage and open
the battery pack.

Which kind of failure do you have?

a. Remote control display is always completely off
b. Battery package level is “zero” even after the

charge

c. Electric motor doesn’t run
d. It is not possible to charge the battery package

= red/green light on the battery charger led is
present during the charge

e. It is not possible to charge the battery package

at 100%, even after many hours of charge

f. Lead battery is not charged by the system
g. Ventilation fans don’t work
h. Battery charger doesn’t work properly
i. During the charge, plug icon on the display

change intermittently with the battery icon

A – The remote control display is off

1 – With the key switch in ON position, open the main
board electric box, and check the leds on the main board.

Are they ON or OFF?

If ON go to step 2, if OFF go to step 3.

Figure 6-60.

2 –Leds on the main board are ON.

If the leds are ON, the main board is ON too, so the
remote control failure is not due at the Lithium system.
Please, check the remote control feed referring to the wir-
ing diagram.

3 – Leds on the main board are OFF.

Check the lead 12 volt battery: it has to feed all the boards
during the ignition, so if it is not OK the machine will
remain off.

Then check the voltage on the 12 Volt switch under the
key switch (page Y1 of the wiring diagram). Do you have
12 Volt from the red wire to the ground?

Figure 6-61.

If yes go to step 4, in no go to step 5.
