If a cell reaches 3630 mV and after many hours under
charge the highest cell is still the same, without growing of
“average” value, probably there is a failure because the
BMS is not able to discharge that specific cell.

In this case we should see also that (even after many
hours of charge):

• SOC never reaches 100%
• Delta (mV) will be more than 100 mV
• Average will never reach 3600 mV
• Highest cell will be always the same
• Every time the operator charge the battery pack, final

SOC level (on the remote control too) will be lower
than the charge before.

In this condition it is necessary to replace the BMS.

The first time the new BMS will balance the cells, probably
it will need more hours, because the cells have different
level of charge.

However it is enough to leave the machine under charge
for at least 48 hours to allow BMS to reach a good pack
balance.

Average: It is the average of the total cell values (Volt).
Normally at the end of the balancing phase, it should be
between 3600 mV and 3630 mV.

At the end of the balancing operation, the average has to
be about 3600 mV.

Lowest (100 ms): If present it is the same value of “Low-
est” but updated every 100 ms.

Third group (Sensors Temperature °C)

Figure 6-101.

Lowest – at: It is the lowest temperature detected. The
number of the sensor is indicate on side.

Highest – at: It is the highest temperature detected. The
number of the sensor is on side.

NOTE: The highest and the lowest temperature have to be circa

the same.

Average: It is the temperature sensors average.

Electronics: It is the temperature of the BMS.

Radiator: It is the temperature of the BMS cooler. During
the balancing step the radiator temperature grows
because one or more cells are connected to the resis-
tance in order to be discharged.

NOTE: In case a sensor detect a too high temperature, a specific

failure code will appear in the window Emergency Error
Code.
