Solution:

Check the inverter feed

Cause:

Evp driver is failed shorted

Solution:

Check the inverter feed

Cause:

Feedback current from motor’s sensor not constantly kept at 0

Solution:

Control the connection with the motor

Evp1 coil open

Cause:

Evp1 coil in not connected

Solution:

Check the main relay; replace the inverter

Evp2 coil open

Cause:

Evp2 coil in not connected

Solution:

Check the main relay; replace the inverter

STBY I high

Cause:

Fault detected in the inverter

Solution:

Usually it is a temporary anomaly due to a particular working condition. In case the anomaly
persists replace the inverter.

Wrong Zero MDI Can Code Alarm

Cause:

Wrong voltage signal from amplifiers

Solution:

Replace the Inverter

Logic Fail #1

Cause:

Overvoltage/Undervoltage condition has been detected

Solution:

Check the feed on the inverter (12 Volt and 48/72 Volt)

Cause:

Motor Voltage feedback circuits are damaged

Solution:

Replace the inverter

Capacitor Charge

Cause:

Problem in the inverter

Solution:

Control the inverter connexions and feeds; replace the inverter

Cause:

Temperature rise in the inverter

Solution:

Allow a better cooling to the inverter. If the anomaly persists contact JLG after sales dept.

Motor temperat

Cause:

High motor temperature

Solution:

Stop the machine temporarily to enable motor cooling

Can Bus KO

Cause:

The inverter does not receive any information from Can Bus line

Solution:

Control the connections with the multi function tool

Smart Driver KO

Cause:

Smart driver is open, not able to provide EB positive

Solution:

Check the inverter feeds and connexions; replace the inverter

Encoder Error

Cause:

Anomaly detected on encoder (= engine rpm sensor)

Solution:

Control the rpm sensor connection. The anomaly may also be caused by a bearing fault.

Vmn low

Cause:

Motor output voltage lower than expected

Solution:

Check the connexion from the inverter to the electric motor; check the internal electric motor
connexion.

Thermis sensor KO

Cause:

The signal from the temperature sensor is higher than 4,95 Volt or lower than 0,1 Volt

Solution:

Usually it is a temporary anomaly due to a particular working condition. In case the anomaly
persists replace the inverter.

Driver shorted

Cause:

Anomaly to the relay supply.

Solution:

Control relay supply. Usually it is a temporary anomaly due to a particular working condition.
In case the anomaly persists replace the inverter.

Aux Batt short

Cause:

Coil on the AUX output is not correctly connected.

Solution:

Check the connexion with the main relay, check the inverter feeds; replace the inverter.

Driver shorted

Cause:

Anomaly to the relay supply.

Solution:

Control relay supply. Usually it is a temporary anomaly due to a particular working condition.
In case the anomaly persists replace the inverter.

Coil shorted

Cause:

Anomaly detected in the relay coil.

Solution:

Control the integrity of relay support.
