L – Battery package level is “zero” on the remote con-
trol, however the machine works properly
Check all the connections and the feeds on the “Can
Bridge Box” (page Z6 of the wiring diagram).
RAHMINO FOR LITHIUM MACHINES
Rahmino is the JLG software to connect the laptop to the
machines using the Can Bus network.
Rahmino is an useful service tool for JLG machine,
because it allows to check with a clear interface the infor-
mation shared in the can bus lines by the ECMs. That tool
is particulary useful to service lithium machines, consider-
ing it shows a detailed overview of the pack status and
how the pack components are working.
On the lithium machine, the information concerning the
lithium components are displayed only by Rahmino, for
this reason Rahmino is absolutely indispensable for the
diagnostics.
Information about how to connect the Rahmino are
showed in the Rahmino manual, however it is enough to
connect it to any part of the CAN BUS Line.
Only for 48 Volt Lithium Battery Pack:
If the battery charger is connected, so the BMS is ON, it is
possible to check the Rahmino Lithium page even if the
machine is off.
NOTE ABOUT 72 VOLT BATTERY PACK
This battery Pack has a specific Can Bus Line for the Lith-
ium main components (BMS, Inverter, Batter Charger);
this can Bus Line is connected to the platform Can Bus
Line by a Can Bridge Box (see chapters 14 “Can Bridge
Box” and 16 “Can Bus Line). Can Bridge Box is activated
and fed by the main board (ECM1-2), so Rahmino con-
nexion by the emergency remote control plug can be
used only with the machine ON.
NOTE ABOUT GOLDLIFT 3S Series
In the remote control emergency plug is not present on
the machine, it is possible connect the Rahmino at every
Can Bus point (ex. Modem).
