Description

path. The connectivity test sends an inter-RAID

controller module message between the

storage arrays, and then validates that the

corresponding remote replication group on the

remote storage array exists. It also validates that

the virtual disk members of the remote

replication group on the remote system match

the virtual disk members of the remote

replication group on the local system.

• Latency—Sends a SCSI test unit command to

each virtual disk on the remote storage array

associated with the remote replication group to

test the minimum, average, and maximum

latency.

• Bandwidth—Sends two inter-RAID controller

module messages to the remote storage array

to test the minimum, average, and maximum

bandwidth as well as the negotiated link speed

of the port on the RAID controller module

performing the test.

• Port connections—Shows the port that is

being used for replicating on the local storage

array and the port that is receiving the

replicated data on the remote storage array.

Test SNMP Trap Destination

Description

This command tests the connection and identification of the trap receiver for a specific Simple Network
Management Protocol (SNMP) community. This command tests the trap destination by sending a trap
message to the trap receiver.

Syntax

start snmpTrapDestination trapReceiverIP=ipAddress

communityName="communityName"

The name of the SNMP community for which you

want to send trap messages.
