Overcurrent error

Overcurrent beyond specifica-
tion flows through the judg-
ment output and edge check
output

• Wire the unit correctly.

• Check the load and reduce the current to be

within the specification range.

• Check that the output wire is not touching other

wires or the frame.

EEPROM error

Reading/writing the nonvola-
tile memory (EEPROM) stor-
age data failed.

Turn the power on again.
Perform the initial reset.

Data has been written in the
nonvolatile memory
(EEPROM) over 1 million
times and malfunction
occurred.

To save the setting values when the power is
turned off, replace the sensor amplifier.

When the standard waveform registration or the zero shift function
are used frequently, do not save the settings by these functions on
the nonvolatile memory (EEPROM).

Communication
error

Communication cannot be
established between the
added sensor amplifiers.

Make the setting for the added sensor amplifiers
again after the power is turned off.

While using the calculation
function, models other than
IG-1050 and IG-1550 are
added next to the main unit.

Check the type of sensor amplifier after the
power is turned off.

Calculation error

While using the calculation
function, an error is found on
the expansion unit (expan-
sion unit 1) added next to the
main unit.

Solve the error on the expansion unit 1.

Standard wave-
form registration
error 1

The light-receiving amount is
too small to register the stan-
dard waveform (Gain adjust-
ment).
(The error is displayed for
approx. 3 seconds and the
normal screen is restored.)

• Mount the transmitter/receiver correctly.

• Align the optical axis so the optical axis

alignment indicator lights up.
