Single Breaker - Click on an individual breaker and while in “RELT Interactive
mode,” the RELT “Key” dialog box will pop up. When enabled, RELT will change
IOC, ST, LT and GF settings for the breaker to RELT (Topology 0).

Multi-point RELT - Will change all Multi-point Relays to RELT (Topology 0).

System Wide RELT - Will change all breakers AND Multi-point Relays to RELT
(Topology 0)

3. For any type of RELT selected, the RELT “Key” dialog box will appear. Click the Turn on button.

4. Type in the user id and password to initiate RELT
Once the system has accepted the RELT command, the HMI will annunciate its state by
changing the color of the Reduced Let - Thru Mode button. It will also annunciate its state by the
highlight around the breaker icon for Single-point and System Wide modes. The Multi-point
button will illuminate when that mode is enabled.

NOTE: A breaker’s settings can not change to topology 0 (RELT) settings until all relays are idle.
Because of the long pickup times for the LT relay, a delay in System Wide RELT could occur.

8.1.3 Disabling Reduced Energy Let-Thru Mode

To disable RELT, On the Master HMI (See section 4.2.2 in DEH-500 System Administrator’s
Manual)

1. Click on the Reduced Energy Let-Thru button on the menu bar
The display will be changed to the RELT interactive One-Line screen. From here, there are three
different modes of operation.

2. Choose the type of RELT to disable:

Single Breaker - Will return the IOC, ST, LT and GF settings for the breaker and
its associated breakers to normal.

Multi-point RELT - Will return all Multi-point Relays to normal.

System Wide RELT - Will return all breakers AND Multi-point Relays to normal.
