ENABLE SNMP COMMUNITY
Syntax
enable snmp community=" community "
Parameter
community Specifies an SNMP community string. This
parameter is case sensitive. The name must be
enclosed in double quotes if it contains a space or
other special character such as an exclamation
point. Otherwise, the quotes are optional.
Description
This command activates a community string on the stack. The default
setting for a new community string is enabled. You can use this command
to enable a community string that you disabled with the DISABLE SNMP
COMMUNITY command.
Example
The following command enables the SNMP community string “private”:
enable snmp community=private
