Electrical System
Before troubleshooting any electrical circuit,
ALWAYS begin by checking the following:
1. Fuses.
2. All connections relating to circuit are clean
and tight.
3. All grounding straps are intact and securely
fastened, refer to Section 9.1.12, “General
Overview (Vehicle Ground Strap Locations).”

Replace closed
cab harness.
Skylight wiper is
inoperative
Check wire [TWP](YEL/ORG)
at skylight wiper/washer
switch for battery voltage.
Not
OK
Check wire [TW2] (PUR/YEL)
at skylight wiper/washer
switch for battery voltage.
Place switch in the skylight
wiper ON (middle) position.
If OK
Not
OK
Replace closed
cab harness.
If OK
Replace front
wiper switch.
If OK
Not
OK
Replace closed
cab harness.
Skylight washer is
inoperative
Not
OK
Place switch in the
skylight/rear washer ON
(bottom) position.
If OK
Not
OK
Replace
skylight/rear
washer pump.
Replace skylight
wiper/washer
switch.
Check wire
[TW4] (DK BLU/WHT) at
skylight wiper/washer
switch for battery voltage.
Not
OK
Replace skylight
wiper motor.
Check wire [TWP](YEL/ORG)
at skylight wiper/washer
switch for battery voltage.
Check wire [TW2] (PUR/YEL)
at skylight wiper motor for
battery voltage.
Not
OK
Clean, tighten and
recheck.
Check wire [TWG2] (BLK) for
proper ground.
If OK
Not
OK
Clean, tighten and
recheck.
Check wire [TWG3] (BLK) for
proper ground at pump.
If OK
