Transfer Carriage
17. Lift and place the lift/lower cylinder (19) into position
on the transfer carriage (20). Coat the capscrew (22)
with Loctite
®
242 (blue). Insert pin (21) and secure it
with capscrew (22) and washer (23). Torque
capscrew to, 43 - 78 lb-ft (59 - 106 Nm).
18. Replace the larger hydraulic hose (24) and smaller
hydraulic hose (25) connecting the lift cylinder (19)
to the hydraulic junction manifold (26). Route the
hoses under and then up through the hole in the
transfer carriage. Torque the larger hose (24) to,
100 - 140 lb-ft (135 - 190 Nm). Torque the smaller
hose (25) to, 45 - 59 lb-ft (61 - 80 Nm).
19. Coat the bolts (27) with Loctite
®
242 (blue). Replace
the bolts (27) and stop blocks (28) at the rear, left
and right side of the frame. Torque the bolts to,
302 - 390 lb-ft (410 - 530 Nm).
WARNING:
To avoid personal injury
and/or equipment damage, supporting the lift/
lower cylinder is essential when lifting and
reinstalling it back on the vehicle. Make sure
that the lift/lower cylinder is properly supported
until it is completely installed.
