Boom

Note: If you are replacing the intermediate boom with a
new intermediate boom; remove the following parts and
save for re-installation.

8. Remove and mark the position of the top wear

pads (13), side wear pads (14), bottom wear pads
(15), retainer (16), washers (17) and capscrews (18)
at the back of the intermediate boom.

9. At the rear of the intermediate boom (19), remove

four capscrews (20) and two hose guides (21).

10. At the front of the boom, remove the capscrew (22),

locknut (23), sheave pin (24) and sheave (25).

11. Inspect the boom and welds. Contact your local Lull

distributor or the JLG Service Department, if
structural damage is detected.

12. Inspect hoses, hardware, wear pads, mounting

points, chains and other components visible with the
intermediate boom removed. Replace if damaged.
