If it is necessary to remove a video card, gently lift straight up on the metal chassis
plate of the card until it becomes free from the connector on the CPU motherboard.

To remove a PCI-E x16 type video card, note the presence of the retainer lock
during removal. Refer to
“Figure C-11: Pull the PCI-E X16 latch”
for an example.

Remove any I/O blank cover plates as needed to allow new video cards to be
installed.
4.
Guide the new video card into place, and insert new video cards into the appropriate
connector slots. Ensure that video cards are fully seated.
