Troubleshooting Video Issues
The table below may assist in identifying problems that you could encounter during video
card updates process along with potential solutions.
Problem
Cause / Solution
Blank Screen, no video
Card may not be properly seated in X16 video connector. Re-open CPU
and re-seat video card.
Customer supplied display may not be compatible with video card.
Replace with supported hardware. Contact Technical Support for
assistance if needed.
Reboot CPU and test again.
Video appears distorted, stretched or too large
on the display.
Video card may not be detecting display compatible settings. Ensure
video display is on and connected prior to power-on of CPU.
Reboot CPU and test again.
