Configuring Export

The Fax Export module is configured from the

Start Programs NET Satis

-

FAXtion Configure Export

utility.

By default, export is not enabled, and the Everyone entry overrides all others.
To configure per-user export, uncheck the

Override all other users

checkbox.

Export Sent Faxes: To export sent faxes, check the

Export Sent Faxes

check-

box and enter a path to the folder. You can click the […] box on the right side to
browse for a folder.
Export Received Faxes: To export received faxes, check the

Export Received

Faxes

checkbox and enter a path to the folder. You can click the […] box on the

right side to browse for a folder.
File Name Fields: The filename used for the exported faxes can be customized
by entering variable names here. The variable names must be within

$(

and

)

characters. The line directly below gives a sample of what the file name will
look like. The file name will always end with a unique identifier to avoid colli-
sions (this cannot be changed).
It is possible to export to sub-directories based on the fax parameters by in-
cluding backslashes in the file name. For example,

$(user_name)\$

(start_time:yyyMMdd_hhmmss)

will export to

USERNAME\datetime_uniquei-

d.tif

.

One file per page: This option will split a received fax into one file per page.
The page number will be appended to the file name between the unique id and
the extension. Only TIFFs can be split in this way.
Delete after export: This will cause the fax to be deleted from queue after it is
exported. Use this option if the user used will not forward on to a client (email,
