Display the verification settings menu.
Press the or key to place the cursor on
“2 Verify”.
Then, press the key.

Display the counter settings.
Press the or key to display the counter
settings, and press the key.

Specify the counter function.
The display is changed to “ON” by pressing the or key, and the counter function can be
activated by pressing the key.

Exit the setting mode.
Press the key twice.
Setting of the counter function is completed.
„ Performance of the counter function
When the counter function is activated, the display
of the LCD is changed. The read data is displayed
in the upper row, and the counted value corre-
sponding to the data is displayed in the lower row.
„ Reset of the count value
The count value is reset in the following cases:
• The record number to be reset is displayed and the key is pressed.
• The power is turned OFF.
• The master data is deleted in the preset mode. ( Refer to 4-7)
• The settings are initialized in the setting mode (initialization menu). ( Refer to 6-13)
• The settings are initialized by the serial communication command. ( Refer to 8-13)
Note
• Verify NG is represented by the count value of Record number 999.
• A command can be used to read the verify counter value. ( Refer to 8-11)
