4-7 2-Point Verification Function

Exit the preset mode.

Press the

key after presetting is completed. The preset LED turns off and the preset mode is

terminated.
When Master data 1 and 2 are preset in Record numbers 1 to 3, the master data is as shown
below. (Example data)*

* “Port number limitation” and “Reference data” are omitted from the above table.

Presetting the master data is completed.

Working with the 2-point Verification Function (Verification Mode)

The operation using the 2-point verification function is as follows.
The screens and the illustrations are examples for verification with the master data in Record num-
ber 1.

The front panel displays as shown on the

right.
Parallel output LEDs OUT9 to 12 illuminate to indi-
cate that they are in the waiting state for the First
reading. At this time, parallel outputs from OUT9 to
12 are ON.

Note

When a format error occurs

• The preset mode cannot be finished unless Master data 1 and 2 have all been preset.

(“Format Error” will be displayed.) Be sure to preset all of Master data 1 and 2.

• When you want to exit the preset mode without Master data 1 and 2 preset, delete the pre-

set data with the

key.

• After the master data is read, the record number is not automatically added if the auto

increment function is turned OFF.

• When a reading error occurs, the read error code is preset if you are working with a fixed

2D code reader, or another company's fixed code reader. In such a case, redo the preset.
