8.1.1 Unit Description
The programmable logic required on the base ARTM for the base board ATCA 8310 (Windsor)
resides in an FPGA. It implements special functions, like:
 ARTM SPI Slave Interface for SPP accesses to ARTM Base FPGA registers
 Mezzanine SPI Slave Interface for TDM accesses to ARTM Base FPGA registers
 MMC I2C Slave Interface for MMC accesses to ARTM Base FPGA registers
 MMC I2C Multiplexer
 Shared Register accessible from SPP, Mezzanine and MMC
 Miscellaneous Registers (e. g. Version Register)
 Reference clock source selector
 Configurable divider for reference clocks
 SPI interface for access to BITS framer devices
 Interrupt controller for the BITS framers and the framer status signals
 Pattern generator and receiver for use with the BITS framers
 Provides a E1 SSM receiver
