7.4.7 Units of measurement
Units of measurement settings are used for selecting the linear and angular units of
measure displayed in MSEsetup and included in transmitted or printed data for all
encoders in the MSE 1000 module chain. Individual channel units can be to set to a
different unit in the Setup screen.

Select units of
measurement To select units of measurement:
Click the «Units of measurement» button.
Units of measurement options are displayed at the top of the screen.
Click the «Linear» drop down arrow and select a linear unit of measurement.
The updated setting is displayed in the Linear drop down box. A message verifying
the action is displayed in the message area.
Click the «Angular» drop down arrow and select an angular unit of measurement.
The updated setting is displayed in the Angular drop down box. A message
verifying the action is displayed in the message area.
