Galaxy Millennium Controller System Alarm Test

The Alarm Test provides a means of testing the operation of any or all
of the system alarm relays and their wiring to the connected alarm
system. The test cannot be performed if any alarms are active. In
addition, Rectifier HVSD (High Voltage Shut Down) and RFA
(Rectifier Fail Alarm) tests can be included. For additional information,
consult the Millennium Controller product manual.

Step

Action

Connect all office alarm wiring from the controller’s office
alarm terminal block to the office alarm monitoring system.

Using either the factory hardware or software switch, enable
the Alarm Test feature.

a. Hardware: Enable DIP switch on the BSH board

b. Software: Use the following key sequence to get to the

menu with the software switch:

Config Alarm TEST ALA : ON (H,S)

Once the Alarm Test feature has been enabled, use the front
panel key sequence Menu

Maint Oper Alarm Test

Enter to start the Alarm Test.

Connecting to Load

The system is ready to connect to equipment loads. Install or turn on
load protectors when needed.
