no default-metric (OSPF)

This command is used to set a default for the metric of distributed routes.

no default-metric

distance ospf (OSPF)

This command sets the route preference value of OSPF in the router. Lower route
preference values are preferred when determining the best route. The type of OSPF can
be intra, inter, type-1, or type-2. The OSPF specification (RFC 2328) requires that
preferences must be given to the routes learned via OSPF in the following order: intra
< inter < type-1 < type-2. The <

preference

> range is 1 to 255. A route with a

preference of 255 cannot be used to forward traffic.

Default

intra—8
inter—10
type-1—13
type-2—50.

distance ospf {intra | inter | type1 | type2} <preference>
