• Manage Inventory: Enter the access level (1 through 9) necessary
to access the Inventory options from the ribbon (Manage > Inven-
tory) and the Kit Builder option available from the Manage >
Check Items portion of the ribbon.
• Check In: Enter the access level (1 through 9) necessary to perform
item check in (Manage > Check Items > Check In) with the sys-
tem.
• Check Out: Enter the access level (1 through 9) necessary to per-
form item check out (Manage > Check Items > Check Out) with
the system.
• Issues: Enter the access level (1 through 9) necessary to issue stock
within the system (Manage > Stock > Issues).
• Receipts: Enter the access level (1 through 9) necessary to generate
stock receipts within the system (Manage > Stock > Receipts) or
perform Check Out Item ID Receiving (Manage > Check Items >
Receive).
• Retire: Enter the access level (1 through 9) necessary to retire an
item within the system (Manage > Check Items > Retire).
• Maintenance and Calibration: Enter the access level (1 through 9)
necessary to track item ID maintenance and calibration transactions
(Manage > Check Items > Maintenance and Calibration.
• Reservations: Enter the access level (1 through 9) necessary to
reserve check out item IDs for a period of days (Manage > Check
Items > Reserve).
The level you enter for each privilege is saved after it is entered. Click
the Close button found along the bottom of the form when you are fin-
ished assigning security levels for the security privileges to close the
form.
Maintaining System Users
System users are added by the administrator. Each user is assigned an
access level, which grants or denies security privileges to the user. For
more information about security privileges, please refer to
“Assigning
Access Levels to System Areas” on page 69 .
• Level 1 grants full administrator access. It is the highest access level.
• The lowest possible access level is Level 9.
