Using the Security Ribbon Options
The Security ribbon options enable you to logout of the application,
change your password, and close the application.
• Logout: for more information about the logout function, please refer to
“Logging Out” on page 36 .
• Change Password: for more information about changing your pass-
word, please refer to
“Changing your Password” on page 37 .
• Quit: you must use the Quit option to close the application. For more
information about closing the application, please refer to
“Closing the
Application” on page 37 .
Logging Out Once you are logged into the application, the application loads your user
profile and gives you options to application functions based on your user
privileges. If history logging is enabled, the application also records your
transactions in the history table. When you are finished working in the
application, you have the option to log out of it. This will clear your profile
from the application so that another user is able to log into it. To logout of
the application, click the Logout button in the Manage > Security ribbon.
The Manage tab is replaced by the Login tab and the Login screen
appears, signifying that you are now logged out of the application.
