Use 24 Hour Times: The time format displayed here must match the
time format set in the Windows Regional Settings control panel.
Sum Inventory on View: check this box to enable automatic sum of
inventory when viewing the Location/Item# for Item#/Location form.
History Logging: check this box to generate an on-going history of
transactions occurring throughout the system. History reports use the
data generated by turning this switch on.

If using the system just for Inventory and Cycle Counts, and no his-
tory reports are needed, unmark this check box to turn this switch off
to optimize system performance.

Log History Totals: This option becomes enabled if “History Log-
ging
” is selected. Check this box to enable Log History Totals. When
enabled, each applicable history record contains the total net balance
quantity for the item.
Cost Tracking: This option becomes enabled if History Logging is
selected. Check this box to enable Cost Tracking of consumable items.
This feature enables you to track the unit cost during the receipt of con-
sumable inventory.

The following cost tracking options become enabled when the cost
tracking feature is enabled; select the desired method of cost track-
ing:
Average: the system calculates the average cost for received items
in the current inventory.
Last Cost: the system uses the last entered cost for a received item
in the current inventory for cost tracking.
Highest Cost: the system uses the greatest cost for the received item
in the current inventory for cost tracking.
Least Cost: the system uses the lowest cost for the received item in
the current inventory.

Show Object Name in Title Bar: To enable this option, check this
box. If enabled, the Check In-Out application displays the internal sys-
tem form name in the Title Bar of each Check In-Out form. If this fea-
ture is not enabled, the form’s title appears in the Title Bar.
Security Enabled: mark this check box to activate security; this will
enforce the privileges defined in the Security Privileges form. If this
check box is not marked, no security restriction will be enforced.
Pictures: Check this box to enable the Pictures option. If enabled, you
are able to import an image file for an item into Check In-Out and view
the item picture at the Item Data form. (Select Manage tab > Inven-
tory
area of the ribbon > Item icon to reach the Item Data form.) Item
pictures are visible when adding or querying item definitions.
