Enter the item number for the consumable item in the Item # field or
the Item ID for check out items in the Item ID field (see the screen cap-
tures found in step 3, above).
When new Item ID’s are being created for Check Out Items, the system
prompts you that the Item ID does not have an Item# assigned to it and
asks you if you want to assign an Item # to it. Select Yes to assign an
item number to the item ID. (If the item ID exists in the database, this
entry is not required, but is extremely helpful when item number infor-
mation is not available when the data is uploaded to the workstation
application database.)

Enter the lot in the Lot field and/or the expiration date in the Exp Date
field if they have been enabled from the workstation.

Check out items do not prompt for lot or expiration date.

Enter the quantity in the Qty field or use the default value set in the
Options screen.

9.

Tap the Save button to complete the transaction. (Tap the Clear button
to clear the fields in the screen and cancel the transaction.)
If the option to Show Transaction History is enabled, the transaction
will appear in the Recent Transactions grid.

10.

Repeat steps 3–9 until you have completed the physical inventory.

11.

Click the ok button or the Windows Close icon (X) to return to the
Main menu.

Moving Inventory

Moving inventory relocates items to another storage location.
