are also retired. If the item ID is part of kit, this item ID will be
removed from the kit when it is retired.

If the item ID is new, a dialog box appears to notify you that the item
ID was not found and asking you if you want to add it to the database.
Select Yes to close the dialog box and add the item ID to the database.
(Select No to cancel adding it to the database.) Please note that if this is
a new kit item, do not add it from the Retire screen, add the kit item ID
at the Build a Kit screen. Please refer to

“Building a Kit” on page 358

The Retire screen reappears. It contains three new fields: Site, Loca-
tion
, and Item #.

Enter the site associated with the item ID in the Site field.

Enter the location associated with the item ID in the Location field.

Enter the item number associated with the item ID in the Item #
field.

Select the Retire button to complete the retire transaction. If the option
to Show Transaction History is enabled, the transaction will appear in
the Recent Transactions grid.

6.

Repeat steps 2-5 until you have completed all retire transactions.
