7. Tap the ok button or the Windows Close icon (X) to close the Retire
screen and return to the Main screen.
Building and Maintaining a Kit
A kit is a collection of check out items that are grouped together under a kit
item ID. When you check out a kit item ID, move a kit item ID, or retire a
kit item ID, all items in the kit are included in the transaction. You have the
option to send Kit Item IDs to the batch portable application when you
download data. You are able to build a kit from the batch portable applica-
tion.
Building a Kit To add a new kit item ID, go to the Build a Kit screen.
1. A new kit is built at the Build a Kit screen. To reach the Build a Kit
screen from the Main screen, select Check In/Out > Kits > Build.
The Build a Kit screen appears.
