all items in the kit remain grouped together during a kit item ID check out,
a kit item ID reservation, or a kit item ID move. The application does not
limit the amount of items in a kit: a kit may contain as many items as
needed; if a kit item ID doesn’t contain any items, it is considered a
“blank” kit and is available at the Kit Builder form for kit building.

Building a Kit

To build a kit at the Kit Builder form, please refer to the steps that follow.

1.

Select Manage > Check Items > Build Kit from the ribbon.

The Kit Builder form appears.

2.

In the Kit Builder form, the default site is automatically selected. The
Kit will be built from Kit Item IDs that reside in normal locations from
this default site (the kit item IDs are the item IDs that are added to a kit
check out item or a kit item marked as both at the Item Data form). If
you want to build the kit from the kit item IDs at another site, click the
Site List field drop-down arrow and select from the sites available in
the drop-down list. (Site selection is based on the Local Site Settings
and your user privileges.)

3.

Next, select the Kit Item ID for this kit. Click the drop-down arrow in
the Kit Item ID field and select the Kit Item ID from the list that
appears. Once you select the Kit Item ID, you are ready to add the item
IDs to the kit.
