• Click Yes to open a form for defining data for the new Item ID.
Select or enter an item number for the Item ID in the Item# field. If
you enter a new Item #, another dialog box appears, notifying you that
this item does not exist in your inventory and telling you that if you add
it now you will only have an item identifier on file and that you will
have to add additional item information at another time. When you add
an item number from the Check In form, the item number will have an
item type of Both; since you are adding an item ID at this time, the Kit
check box will be disabled as well.
