The Item Data form contains an Add Item # to Location process button
along the bottom of the form.

When you click this button for a consumable item, the Item at Location
form appears.

Use the Item at Location form to enter consumable inventory for this con-
sumable item into the application:

In the Site List field, click the drop-down arrow and select the site for the
inventory; in the Location field, click the drop-down arrow and select the
location for the inventory, and in the Qty field, enter the item amount.
When you are ready to add this item to the location, click the Do It button
to process the Add Item transaction. The data clears, indicating that this
item has been added to the location. Click the Close button to close the
Item At Location form. A message appears asking you if you want to close
this form. Click Yes to close the message and close the Item At Location
form. You are returned to the Item Data form.

Check Out
Items

A check out item is an item that contains a unique item identifier, or item
ID. A check out item is tracked individually by its item ID. Check out
items are items that can be rented or borrowed, such as a laptop computer,
a cell phone, equipment, or tools. When a check out item ID is added to the
application, the item ID becomes part of your circulating inventory.

Marking a Check Out Item as a Kit Item

A check out item may also be marked as a “kit” item by marking the Kit
check box. When a check out item is marked as a “kit,” the item IDs asso-
ciated with it are available as “Kit Item IDs” for kit building in Check In-
