Retiring Check Out Items

A retired check out item is removed from inventory and placed in the
Retire table of the database for history and reporting purposes. When a
check out item is retired, it is removed from inventory. Retiring check out
inventory prevents those check out inventory items from being checked
out again. (When you retire a kit item, all items associated with the kit are
also retired. When you retire an item ID that is part of a kit, this item ID
will be removed from the kit.)
