When you want to close a tabbed window, click on it to bring it to the front
and click the Close button found along the bottom right portion of the win-
dow.

Action Conventions

This documentation uses action conventions to explain screen actions such
as using the computer mouse, selecting command tabs and ribbon options,
clicking buttons, choosing settings and options, responding to Query and
Dialog box prompts, and using the keyboard.

Mouse
Actions

Use the computer mouse to open and close the application and to select
options, buttons, and menu items. Mouse actions that are used in this docu-
mentation include:

Click: Clicking is used to select specific buttons on various forms and
tables. When instructed to click in this manual: press, then immediately
release the left mouse button without moving the mouse.

Double-click: Double-clicking is used to initiate (or open) an applica-
tion. When instructed to double-click in this manual: click the left
mouse and hold the right mouse button without moving the mouse.

Right-click: Right-clicking is used to open specific right-click menu
options. When instructed to right-click in this manual: press and hold
the right mouse button without moving the mouse.

Select: Selecting refers to clicking and releasing the left mouse button
to choose an item or items from a drop-down list.

Ribbon
Options

You are often instructed to select a Command Tab. Selecting a Command
Tab displays a ribbon that includes ribbon options related to the Com-
mand
Tab. From the Command Set and ribbon options, you are able to
open application forms. For example, when you are instructed to:

Select Location Data from the Inventory options of the Manage Com-
mand Tab:
