Maintenance and Calibration Transactions

The maintenance and calibration feature enables you to record the mainte-
nance or calibration service date for the check out item, as well as relieve
consumable inventory used to perform the service. The system keeps track
of the last service date and the next service date at the Check Out Item
Details form for the Item ID.

When you perform a Maintenance or Calibration transaction at the Mainte-
nance and Calibration form, the system automatically enters a transaction
number and today’s date. You must select which transaction is being pro-
cessed, a maintenance one or a calibration one, and the check out item ID
that is being serviced. You have the option to assign an order number to the
transaction and assign the transaction to a department. The form also con-
tains 3 user defined fields so that you can add information above and
beyond the information allotted for in the standard fields. Once you add the
stock items necessary to perform the service, you are ready to process the
transaction. When you process a maintenance or calibration transaction,
the system will update the item ID with the service date, relieve the con-
sumable inventory, and record the transaction in application history.

To perform a Maintenance or Calibration transaction, please refer to the
instructions that follow.

1.

Select Manage > Check In > Maintenance and Calibration option
from the ribbon.
