Generic IP Modem Configuration
The device Generic IP modem can be used to create a modem control
for an unspecified modem respecting states and the command/response
scheme of an AT modem. Generic IP modem is configured in the
Devices view as shown in
Figure 126 on page 275 .

NOTE Generic IP modem is available only with the advanced tools password.
The instructions presented here also apply to advanced configuration
of any of the preconfigured modems, that is, the devices
(Win)NullModem IP, Siemens GPRS-IP, and PSTN-IP.
