5. Click OK to accept the default name. The Configure Allen-Bradley DF1
Communications Device dialog box appears.
Important: Do NOT use the AutoConfigure button to set the settings for this
driver. This command does not work with a modem.
6. In the Comm Port field, select the communications port that your computer
is using to access the modem.
7. In the Device field, select 1770-KF2/1785-KE.
8. In the Station Number field, type your SCANport communications module
station number.
9. In the Baud Rate field, select the baud rate at which your computer,
modems, and communications module are operating.
10. Select Use Modem Dialer. A check mark will appear.
