About ControlNet
Communications ControlNet is a real-time, control-layer network providing high-speed
deterministic transport of time-critical I/O data. With ControlNet direct
communications, you access a drive over a ControlNet network using messaging
data (this is not real-time). Figure 7.1 shows an example:
