5. In the Enter Starting Group # field, type the RIO starting group number of
the drive. The RIO starting group number is set in the communications
module. Valid numbers are 0, 2, 4, and 6.
6. Select PLC Type.
7. If you are using a 1395 drive, select Use 1395 Protocol.
8. Click OK.
The DriveTools32 application is now communicating with the drive. If you are
prompted to create a new database, click Yes.
Important: If a prompt appears to alert you that the application failed to
communicate with the drive, refer to Chapter 16, Troubleshooting.
